Abstract

NOVASINERGIA presents its volume 3, number 1. We hope that this edition will reinforce our readers’ empowerment in our publications and become a mandatory reference in future studies. It presents a review of livestock mating systems in the tropics, a study of soil nutrient supply from leaf litter, and the development of statistical models to predict drinking water consumption. The issue presents a study of the controllability of the impulse and delay equations and developing a current and voltage controller for wind turbines. Also, the design of an electronic splint is shown. The issue continues with an analysis of the performance of the NOMA technique in a LTE mobile communication system, an evaluation of public open spaces, a study of the tribological properties of carbon coatings and a review of the Vaska complex. This work has been possible thanks to the joint effort of NOVASINERGIA’s professional team and the voluntary work of thirty referees specialized in different areas.
