Abstract

In this opportunity, we present volume 2, number 1 of NOVASINERGIA. The grand reception that our readers and authors show motivates us to keep improving. Ten articles are published, reporting new knowledge, with local, national, and international relevance in different disciplines. We hope that this edition will continue to promote our readers’ empowerment in our publications and become a mandatory reference in future studies. The first article reports on the isotopic effect in hydrophobic interactions. Similarly, this issue presents a study on the effect of drinking water management and quality on its consumption, automation of indicators in institutional evaluation, analysis of DIFFSERV architecture in VoIP applications, non-destructive evolution of MOSFET transistors. The number continues with an alternative to traditional zinc-based coatings for electrical conduits, discontinuous control strategies for a heat exchanger, the study of a submerged buoy’s behavior, and the economic assessment of a water supply service. Finally, this issue presents a critical review of the reagent DIMETILGLIOXIMA. This work has been possible thanks to the NOVASINERGIA team of professionals’ joint effort and thirty specialist referees’ voluntary work in different areas. Thanks to all of them.
